For Auction is a Hanna Instruments HI 902 Auto Titrator and a Hanna Instruments HI 921 Auto Sampler.
The Hanna Instruments HI 902C and the HI 921 Autosampler form a high-performance, automated potentiometric titration system. While the HI 902 handles the complex chemistry and calculations, the HI 921 manages the physical sample handling, allowing for high-throughput laboratory workflows.
HI 902C Automatic Titrator
The HI 902C is the "brain" of the operation. It is a versatile potentiometric titrator capable of performing acid/base, redox, complexometric, and ion-selective titrations.
Capabilities: Supports up to 100 methods (standard and user-defined). It can perform back titrations and detect multiple equivalence points.
Precision Dosing: Features the Clip-Lock™ exchangeable burette system, allowing you to swap reagents in seconds without cross-contamination.
Multi-Functionality: Acts as a high-accuracy pH, mV/ORP, and ISE (Ion Selective Electrode) meter simultaneously.
Interface: A 5.7-inch color display shows real-time titration curves, which is vital for method optimization.
HI 921 Auto Sampler
The HI 921 is the "hands" of the system, designed to automate the testing of multiple samples consecutively.
Sample Capacity: * 16-Beaker Tray: Holds 150 mL beakers.
18-Beaker Tray: Holds 100 mL beakers.
Smart Sensing: Uses RFID to automatically recognize the tray size and IR Beaker Detection to sense if a beaker is missing (preventing the arm from attempting a titration in an empty slot).
Pumping System: Can be equipped with up to three peristaltic pumps for:
Automatic reagent addition.
Sample leveling (ensuring consistent volumes).
Waste aspiration after the test is complete.
Mixing: Includes a built-in magnetic stirrer in the carousel, with an optional overhead propeller stirrer available for more viscous samples.
The Hanna Instruments Auto Titrator and Sampler have been powered on. No further testing has been completed outside of what is documented with the included media. The Instruments come with power and connecting cords. The Instruments show cosmetic wear such as scuffs and sticker labels. Please reference the included photos/ media and Instrument model numbers for more information. This sale includes the items you see in the photos and nothing else. The Hanna Instruments Auto Titrator and Sampler are being sold AS IS.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. After paying for your auction you can make your make your appointment by going to our bidder porthole and registering with our system. You will then have access to our calendar where you can make your appointment, Hours of pickup are Monday-Friday 8am to 3pm. (close for lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm) We are closed on all University Holidays.
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,
DO NOT LIST UI SURPLUS AS THE SHIPPER.
You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED
