For Auction is an Olympus U-DO3 Dual Observation Bridge. The Olympus U-DO3 is a dual-observation attachment (often called a "discussion bridge") designed for Olympus BX and CX series microscopes. It allows two people to view the same specimen simultaneously, making it an essential tool for teaching, training, and pathology consultations.
Unlike side-by-side configurations, the U-DO3 is a front-to-back bridge, meaning the two observers sit facing each other.
Features and Capabilities
Built-in LED Pointer: Includes a movable arrow pointer that both users can see. The pointer's color is usually switchable between red and green to ensure it stands out against different stains (like H&E or Gram stains).
Dual Controls: Both the main observer and the assistant typically have access to pointer controls to highlight specific areas of interest.
UIS2 Compatibility: It is part of the Universal Infinity System (UIS2) family, ensuring high optical quality without image degradation or magnification changes (it maintains a 1x factor).
Field Number: It supports a field of view up to F.N. 22.
The Dual Observation Bridge has not been tested. The Bridge appears to be in good condition. Please reference the included photos and Bridge model number for more information. The Olympus Dual Observation Bridge is being sold AS IS.
