For Auction is an Olympus U-SDO3 Dual Observation Bridge Attachment. The Olympus U-SDO3 is a side-by-side dual observation bridge attachment for compatible Olympus microscopes, primarily used for collaborative viewing and teaching. It allows two (or more, with additional heads) people to view a sample concurrently.
Features and Specifications
Function: Enables side-by-side simultaneous viewing by two users, making it suitable for teaching, training, and collaborative research.
Compatibility: Designed to attach to existing Olympus BX series microscopes. It uses the Universal Infinity System (UIS/UIS2) optical design and should be used with compatible components for optimal performance.
LED Pointer: Includes an integrated LED pointer which can be controlled with a rheostat (turning it up results in a red arrow, down in a green arrow, and the middle results in no illumination) to precisely indicate areas of interest within the field of view.
Expandability: A secondary or tertiary viewing head is often available for an additional price, allowing more than two people to observe at once.
Application: Ideal for medical, lab, and dental procedures, as well as general business and industrial applications where shared observation is necessary.
Ease of Use: The unit is described as easy to use, providing bright and clear visuals.
The Olympus Dual Observation Bridge has not been tested. The Observation Bridge appears to be in good condition. The Observation Bridge may show signs of cosmetic wear such as scuffs and scratches. Please reference the included photos and Olympus Observation Bridge model number for more details. The Olympus Dual Observation Bridge is being sold AS IS.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. After paying for your auction you can make your make your appointment by going to our bidder porthole and registering with our system. You will then have access to our calendar where you can make your appointment, Hours of pickup are Monday-Friday 8am to 3pm. (close for lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm) We are closed on all University Holidays.
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,
DO NOT LIST UI SURPLUS AS THE SHIPPER.
You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED
