For Auction is a GE Health Giraffe Blue Spot PT Lite. The GE Health Giraffe Blue Spot PT Lite is a high-intensity Neonatal Phototherapy System designed to treat hyperbilirubinemia (jaundice) in both full-term and pre-term infants. It uses advanced LED technology to deliver focused blue light through a flexible fiber optic "gooseneck" pipe, allowing for precise positioning without generating excess heat or noise near the baby.
Features and Specifications
Effective Spectrum: Emits light in a narrow blue spectral band (430–490 nm) that targets bilirubin's peak absorption wavelength.
High Intensity: Delivers an irradiance of approximately at a distance of 38 cm (15 inches).
Long-Life LED: The LED module is rated for up to 10,000 hours of use, which is significantly longer than traditional halogen bulbs.
Compact Design: Its small footprint and flexible mounting options (bed-mounted or roll-stand) make it suitable for space-constrained NICU and nursery environments.
Developmental Care: The light source is housed in a separate box away from the patient to minimize noise and ambient heat.
The Giraffe Blue Spot Light has been powered on. The Lite has not been tested further. The Stand wheels work properly and the Lite System rolls smoothly. The Lite System may show signs of cosmetic wear such as scuffs and sticker labels. Please reference the included photos and Blue Lite System model number for more information. The Giraffe Blue Spot Lite System is being sold AS IS.

Removal
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,

You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED

Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
