SANTA CLAUS: Christmas Lake Village is a family-oriented gated community located in southern Indiana, on the south side of the small town of Santa Claus, Indiana. This community includes over 900 homes, with three lakes available exclusively to home and lot owners and their guests. The largest lake at 200 acres, Christmas Lake, is a sports lake with fishing, swimming, skiing, tubing, and sailing. The Village also has two smaller lakes, 24 acre Lake Holly and 34 acre Lake Noel. Only trolling motors for the quiet fisherman are allowed on these lakes, as well as canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats. That also makes these lakes ideal for a quiet swim. Other amenities available to Village members include a 24-hour gatehouse attendant and access to Holly Park, which has soccer, baseball and softball fields, and basketball and tennis courts. There is also a shelter in the park, complete with picnic tables and a children's playground. Nearby attractions include an 18 Hole Championship Golf Course, Holiday World Amusement Park, Lincoln State Park and Lincoln Boyhood Memorial National Park.
