When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.Paperwork must be completed before items can be picked up.
PROPERTY MUST BE REMOVED BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! All property must be removed from this asset location within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate.
Buyer must make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading, and transportation. This also includes any arrangements made with a third party to pick up the merchandise. Use of any third party shipper is at the Buyer’s own risk.
Mr. Clark must first approve any third party pick-ups, because there are special instructions that must be completed before release of any vehicle or asset. Merchandise may be removed from the location between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. Mr. Clark must give authorization before pick up of any vehicle. For additional information, please email Mr. Clark at patrick.clark@alexandriava.gov. Buyer must make an appointment with Mr. Clark prior to receipt of Bill of Sale during the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. Friday pick-ups will not be allowed for any Fire Department equipment.
Buyers arriving without making an appointment may be turned away. Without an appointment, Buyers may be unable to complete this transaction.

If the winning bid plus applicable taxes, if any indicated, and the buyer's premium, equals more than $4,999.99, PayPal & Credit Card payment methods may not be used. If Wire Transfer is chosen, a Wire Transfer Transaction Summary page will provide payment and account information. The Wire Transfer must be completed within 5 days. Removal.
