SALES TAX

Removal

If you are the winning bidder, contact the Seller PRIOR to arriving to VERIFY THE LOCATION of the item(s) won, and any additional instructions on payment, pickup and removal.

Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. If there are any issues with the item at the time of removal, resolve them with the Seller BEFORE THE ITEM IS REMOVED. All assets must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the auction’s close. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading, including packing, dismantling (if applicable), and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will Seller assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed from the date the auction closed.

Acceptable forms of payment are: U.S. Currency, Certified Cashier’s check, Money Order, or company check (with Bank letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory). . IF PAYING WITH CASH, YOU MUST BRING EXACT AMOUNT (i.e. bid price + tax) Checks shall be made payable to Jackson County Government. Removal: All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. The buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 3:00p.m..
