This 2002 American Signal Co. portable changeable message sign (CMS) trailer is solar-powered and features onboard control hardware and battery system. The unit powers on but does not progress past the “READY” screen on the controller. The issue is known to be related to obsolete internal hardware, and replacement parts for this model are no longer available, requiring a modern control system upgrade to restore functionality. Estimated cost to upgrade is $3200-$4000.

The trailer frame, solar array, and tires are in fair to good condition with light surface rust typical for its age. Includes the AMSIG keypad controller and complete wiring harness.

Removal

Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction.

The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. Bidders will be locked unless a prior arrangement has been made for any item not removed within the ten (10) business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.
