Up for auction by the City of Elyria is a used 2001 Caterpillar GP30K Forklift 6,000 pound capacity LP Gas with 5,977 hours.
The City of Elyria purchased this Caterpillar Forklift used in July of 2007 from Caterpillar as a factory refurbished unit. At the time of purchase in 2007, this forklift had 5,000 hours on it. Since its purchase in 2007, this forklift was utilized by the City of Elyria Waste Water Treatment Plant for its entire service life. It was removed from service May of 2025 due to equipment rotation. At the time of removal from service, this forklift has 5,977 hours on it and operated and functioned as it should.

SALES TAX

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate. ALL VEHICLES SOLD BY POLICE DEPARTMENT WITH A SALVAGED TITLE WILL NEED TO BE TOWED OUT FOR REMOVAL
