Up for auction by the City of Elyria is a 2020 Ford Fusion Hybrid SEDAN 4-DR, 2.0L L4 DOHC 16V HYBRID with 52109 miles. The Elyria Police Department came into possession of the vehicle on October 2, 2025 as the result of a investigation. The vehicle went unclaimed where the Elyria Police Department took possession of the vehicle on December 2, 2025, through the Ohio unclaimed and abandoned junk motor vehicle affidavit process. The administrative process converts the clear title to a salvage title. The Elyria Police Department had the vehicle inspected by the Ohio State Highway Patrol on January 21, 2026. The Elyria Police Department obtained a replacement title on February 3, 2026. The City of Elyria Central Maintenance Department conducted an inspection of the vehicle and found it in good working order. The technician found that the drivers side front wheel has a faulty air pressure sensor. Minor body damage was noted on the hood, inside the drivers door frame, and on the top of the vehicle.
