When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will Seller assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. Property may be removed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, excluding legal holidays. Please contact in advance to schedule time for pick-up. For information, please contact the agency representative listed in “Special Instructions”. The successful bidder must assume all liability that may be incurred in connection with the removal of the property from the premises. If the purchaser does not remove the property purchased within the specified number of days after date of the award, the County of Henrico reserves the right to retain the purchase price and re-sell the property a second time, keeping any proceeds obtained. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be assessed to the Buyer for any item not removed within the 10 business days.

The County can furnish no service of any kind. The bidder shall assume all responsibility for packaging, crating, loading, weighing,or hauling unless otherwise indicated. Successful bidders(Buyer) are responsible all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing,
loading, and transportation of any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
**The Buyer’s Certificate serves as Proof-of-Purchase and must be presented at the time of item removal. If using a 3rd-Party agent; Buyer must provide agent with a faxed copy including their signed authorization to release their items. Buyer must notify Seller if using a Third-Party Agent for pick-up.
