Under no circumstances will a refund or adjustment be made because property not coming up to the standard expected, nor will failure to inspect be considered grounds for such claim.

Payment

PAYMENT

If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.

Note:

1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.

2. Any invoice $5,000 or above requires payment via wire transfer.

SALES TAX

Removal

Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. The Successful Bidder is responsible for loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them from the pick-up location indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Successful Bidder will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will the County of Henrico (the “County”) assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. The County staff can furnish no service of any kind. Property may be picked up only on Designed Pick-Up Date. For information, please contact the agency representative listed in “Govdeals Certificate”. The Successful Bidder assumes all liability that may be incurred in connection with the removal of the property from the premises. If the Successful Bidder does not remove the property purchased by the specified date on the award notice, the County reserves the right to retain the purchase price and re-sell the property a second time, keeping any proceeds obtained.
No repairs will be allowed on County property.

If the Successful Bidder is using a 3rd-Party agent for pick-up; the Successful Bidder must provide the 3rd-Party agent with a copy Buyer Certificate including their signed authorization to release the property. The Successful Bidder must notify the County if a 3rd-Party agent is to be utilized for pick-up.

Any claim for incorrect description must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid.
