Note: the pickup location is a secured jail facility. The winning buyer, or authorized pick up designee, is required to check in at the visitor center and will then be escorted to the warehouse to obtain the item(s). You MUST have a government issued identification in your possession to enter the facility. Pickups are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays only. Some flexibility may be given for pick ups that occur on other days but they will only be considered for exigent circumstances. Those special pickup days must be approved in advance by contacting Sgt. Spinner at ronald.spinner@wvarj.org. Our location is a smoke-free and weapon-free facility (this includes pocket knives). If you have these items, you will be asked to leave and will not be permitted to remove your item. We thank you for your cooperation.

We do have a forklift on site and can assist with loading. The buyer may be asked to sign a liability waiver prior to loading.

The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation and exporting.

Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.

At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, Authorization of Release, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).

NOTICE: If you are the winning bidder and default by failing to adhere to this seller's terms and conditions, your account with Liquidity Services WILL BE LOCKED.

Guaranty Waiver: All property is offered for sale “AS IS, WHERE IS.” Western Virginia Regional Jail makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.
