All equipment was working when removed from the vessel April 2025. However, it is sold in AS-IS and is not warranted to still be operational.
Winning bidder will be required to pick up and transport the equipment. The satellite dome is currently on a pallet, which can be used to load the equipment. Approximate dimensions of the Thrane & Thrane dome is 30x30x30 inches and weighs approximately 50 lbs. All other equipment is easily lifted/transported. Please note: no tools, equipment, or physical labor will be provided; the winning bidder must provide their own pallet jack and truck. All costs to remove the items included in this listing from our location are the responsibility of the winning bidder.
Only items listed here are for sale; extraneous items which may be visible in pictures are not part of this sale.
The dome is located on the URI GSO campus at Shipping and Receiving, 20 Receiving Road, Narragansett, RI 02882. Arrangements can be made to the winning bidder to stage equipment prior to pickup. The below deck units are currently in the Marine Ops Building. This equipment can be consolidated with the domes prior to pickup. Pickup can be arranged M-F 9am-12pm once all required documentation is received from the winning
bidder.
BIDDER PLEASE NOTE: Prior to removal of items, Proof of Insurance will be required by the winning bidder BEFORE arrangement may be made for pickup.

SALES TAX

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. Bidders will be locked unless a prior arrangement has been made for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.
INSURANCE
Proof of insurance will be required by the winning bidder BEFORE arrangements can be made for pickup.
