Note: Removal of vehicles must be completed within the specified pick-up dates/times. There is absolutely no “salvage” of vehicles on Metra property. Dismantling, cutting, or crushing of any vehicle will not be allowed. However, any vehicle that must be downsized, by unbolting any attached equipment, to make it legal for transportation purposes will be allowed. Metra does not allow purchasers to make repairs on Metra property, with the exception of minor repairs needed to make the vehicle functional for removal from the premises. Although the vehicle was driven in to the turn in location we recommend that the vehicle be towed away due to the fact we don't know the current state of the vehicle since it has not been serviced. Metra will not be responsible should the buyer decide to drive the vehicle away and it breaks down during transit. It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange removal from Metra property.
VEHICLE(S) MUST BE REMOVED FROM METRA PROPERTY AT TIME OF PICK UP, WHETHER TOWED AWAY OR DRIVEN. Metra cannot and will not provide the buyer any tools, materials, or help from Metra employee(s) for any repairs needed to remove the vehicles from Metra property. There is no access to fuel or materials of any kind at the sale site where vehicle is picked up. Metra cannot and will not load any vehicles of private or for-hire trucks or trailers due to liability issues.
