ABOUT CLEARLAKE
Welcome to the Clearlake, the largest natural lake in the State of California and second oldest lake in the world! Clearlake can be found in beautiful Lake County, approximately 90 minutes northwest of Sacramento and 90 minutes northeast of San Francisco. For thirteen consecutive years Lake County has had the cleanest air in all of California.
The lake itself is truly magnificent. It stretches nearly twenty miles in length and includes over 100 miles of shoreline. Considered a “warm water” lake, the bass fishing is unrivaled as witnessed by the 40+ fishing tournaments held here annually out of the City’s Thompson Harbor.
Clearlake is located in Lake County in the mountains of Northern California, about an hour northeast of the Napa Valley. Part of Lake County's wine country, it enjoys wide open space, a neighborly small town atmosphere, the cleanest air in California, and proximity to major urban centers like Sacramento (2 hours east), Mendocino (1.5 hours west), and the San Francisco Bay Area (2 hours south). Winters are mild in Clearlake, generally 40s and 50s and Summer temperatures are usually in the 80s and 90s.
California's largest fresh water lake, Clearlake has over 100 miles of shoreline, visitors enjoy fishing, swimming, sailing, wind surfing, parasailing, waterskiing, boating, and riding jet skis. There are 11 free boat launch ramps around the lake, and individuals can rent boats and personal watercraft from many local businesses
The property is free and clear of encumbrances. Upon receipt of payment in full a Grant Deed is issued to the successful bidder.
