The property being sold in this auction are the contents of safe deposit boxes reported to the District of
Columbia, Unclaimed Property Unit by various safekeeping repositories. The boxes have been unclaimed by
the owner for more than 3 years from the date on which the lease or rental period expired.
All items have been appraised by a certified appraiser.
Item Description:
Solid Gold Button Set (all tested, not marked)
A/ 5 pcs- 18kt yellow gold buttons. Each button has seven round, faceted stones- multi-colored stones (five have some slight damage). Diameter is 5/8 of an inch. Total weight is 8.8 grams.
B/ 5 pcs 18kt yellow gold buttons, floral design. Diameter is approx. 5/8 of an inch. Total weight is 8.1 grams.
C/ 5 pcs of 18kt yellow gold buttons, each has eight cabochon red stones. Some stones are damaged. Weight together is 8 grams.
D/ 5 pcs18kt yellow gold round buttons strung on a18kt chain. Total length is 20 inches and total weight is 18.4 grams.
E/ 5 pcs 18kt yellow gold buttons with clear stones. Approx length is one inch and total weight is 13.5 grams.
F/ 5 pcs 18kt yellow gold buttons. Each button has seven faceted colored stones, many have nicks. Approx 1/2 inch in diameter and total weight is 10.6 grams.

Removal
Removal: Items must be picked up in person. Buyers must pick up within six (6) calendar days of auction close. After 6 days, auctions will be canceled. If auction canceled, buyer's account will be locked. Removal is by appointment only. Appointments for removing the property will be available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30am to 3:00pm. Once item is paid, please email dcauction@dc.gov to schedule appointment.
*Appointments must be scheduled by 4:00pm EST on the Monday prior to the desired appointment time.* No packing or shipping available. If you need packing/shipping, please contact a third party shipping company. We cannot recommend any specific companies. If sending a shipping company, family member, friend, or other representative to pick up for you, that person MUST bring the following:
1: copy of buyer's driver license
2: signed note (or emailed note) from buyer giving permission to pick up
3: buyer certificate (sent to buyer when auction closes)
