PAYMENT

If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.

Note:

1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.

2. Any invoice $5,000 or above requires payment via wire transfer.

SALES TAX

Removal

All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will City of Fayetteville assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping.

Removal instructions: Your item(s) can be picked up Monday – Friday between the hours of 9:00AM – 11:00AM and 2:00PM-4:00PM.

To pick up your item you will first need to come to the Fayetteville City Hall (address will be provided to you via email upon payment of your item) to get a copy of your bill of sale before heading to the pick-up location. Please review below, the required material you will need to bring with you. Please be sure to call or email before you come so that we can ensure someone is available upon your arrival.

You MUST provide:

  • Driver’s License or Photo ID
  • A paper copy of your Buyer’s Certificate

If you plan on sending someone on your behalf to pick up your purchase: You will need to email me the above-mentioned items along with a “Authorization Letter” that states the name of the person coming to pick up on your behalf. They will need to provide proof of ID upon arrival.
