How many days was this unit submersed in sea water during and after Hurricane Ian? 04/14/2026 17:13:53 PM
The unit was NOT submerged during or after Hurricane Ian. Salt water did reach the base of the bottom of the fuel tank. The generator sits on top of the fuel tank. The fuel tank is 31.5 inches tall so the salt water was 31" away from the generator. The generator ran nonstop through out Hurricane Ian. We had the generator mechanic out the day after the hurricane and the oil was changed every 100 hours. I attached the most recent annual maintenance from October 2025. The generator is still in service and runs every Sunday for weekly maintenance. 04/14/2026 19:36:48 PM
