1987 AM General M998 HMMWV 4x4 diesel troop/cargo carrier, former U.S. military surplus (LESO). It is a 1.25-ton 4x4 with automatic transmission, camouflage paint, front brush guard, full soft top and extended cargo canvas. LESO/FEPMIS records identify it as serial number 036880, with an approximate curb weight of 5,200 lbs and GVW of 7,700 lbs. The odometer shows about 4,044 miles.
Running condition is UNKNOWN. The vehicle has been stored outside for several years and has not been started or driven by the seller. Expect surface rust, peeling paint, and corrosion in various areas. The canvas top and cargo cover are weathered but generally intact. Interior is basic military configuration with troop seating and a radio/communications table; seats, canvas, and flooring show dirt, fading, and normal wear. Engine, transmission, 4x4 system, brakes, lights, gauges, electrical components, and batteries are untested and may require repair or replacement.
This HMMWV is sold AS-IS/WHERE-IS with no warranties. Buyer is responsible for all loading, towing, and transport; assume the vehicle will not move under its own power.

Payment

Removal
ONCE THE ITEM HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE SELLER’S LOCATION; ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of the close of the auction. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No assistance will be provided.
A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
