The property being sold in this auction are the contents of safe deposit boxes reported to the District of
Columbia, Unclaimed Property Unit by various safekeeping repositories. The boxes have been unclaimed by
the owner for more than 3 years from the date on which the lease or rental period expired.
All items have been appraised by a certified appraiser.
Item Description:
A/ 1873 French Paris pocket watch. Can set time but doesn’t wind with blue jewel, crystal is cracked.
B/ Gold-tone closed face pocket watch, Columbia USA maker. Lever set- broken. Doesn’t wind or set. Works # is AG382700 and diameter is 33mm, case diameter is 41mm. Has attached gold tone chain,12 inches with finish wear.
C/ Ronson lighter with sterling silver cover (Alex & Co sterling.) 1 3/4" x 1 7/8" unsure if it works.

Removal
Removal: Items must be picked up in person. Buyers must pick up within six (6) calendar days of auction close. After 6 days, auctions will be canceled. If auction canceled, buyer's account will be locked. Removal is by appointment only. Appointments for removing the property will be available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30am to 3:00pm. Once item is paid, please email dcauction@dc.gov to schedule appointment.
*Appointments must be scheduled by 4:00pm EST on the Monday prior to the desired appointment time.* No packing or shipping available. If you need packing/shipping, please contact a third party shipping company. We cannot recommend any specific companies. If sending a shipping company, family member, friend, or other representative to pick up for you, that person MUST bring the following:
1: copy of buyer's driver license
2: signed note (or emailed note) from buyer giving permission to pick up
3: buyer certificate (sent to buyer when auction closes)
