Red mechanical donation parking meter previously used as part of Salt Lake City’s HOST homeless-outreach initiative. These repurposed parking meters allowed members of the public to donate coins in support of local homeless-service programs.
This unit was previously displayed at the Van Gogh 360 museum in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Features include:
- Bright red painted finish
- Salt Lake City and HOST program graphics
- “Turn Spare Change into Real Change” messaging
- “Give a Hand Up, Not a Handout” decal
- Mechanical coin slots for nickels, dimes and quarters
- Heavy-duty cast-metal meter housing
- Internal coin-collection mechanism
- Mounting pole and base, if shown in the photographs
The meter is being sold as a retired civic display and collectible. It is no longer authorized to collect donations on behalf of Salt Lake City or the HOST program. All collected funds have been removed and are not included.
The coin mechanism has not been fully tested. Keys are not guaranteed unless shown or specifically stated. The unit has scratches, scuffs, paint chips, decal wear and other signs of public display and use.

Removal
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.

Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
