The Spy II is a simple to use, wireless, portable alarm system that interfaces with a user's existing radio system. The user can record two distinct messages into the system. Each message is associated with one or more sensors. The message is then broadcast over the user's radio when wireless sensors are activated. Optionally, one message can be broadcast over a wireless local speaker alerting the unauthorized person that they have been spotted. The sensors can be placed up to 1,000 feet from the Spy II. Entry and exit delays allow access into and out of the protected area without setting off the system.
The Spy II is perfect for applications such as law enforcement, convenience stores, unauthorized access points, warehouses/ construction yards, school playground safety, and more! The Spy II takes only minutes to learn and setup and is compatible with virtually all radio systems and has a physical connection to a two-way radio (like a transmitter system or a walkie-talkie). When a sensor is triggered, the Spy II unit "keys up" the connected radio—just as if someone had pressed the push-to-talk button—and then plays the pre-recorded message over the radio's speaker. This message is then transmitted over the radio frequency to all other radios on that channel.
Key Features:
Setup and use in minutes
Cost effective for all departments
Multiple wireless sensors may be programmed per zone (2 individual zones and user recorded messages)
The second message can be broadcast locally over a speaker
Runs up to 1 week on a single battery charge (rechargeable battery)
Compatible with virtually any radio system including UHF, VHF, and 800 MHz trunking systems, including digital and narrow band
Two-zone capability: The system has two zones, and you can assign one of the two recorded messages to each zone.
For example: Message 1 could be a discreet alert for a law enforcement team: "Motion on side door. Repeat, motion on side door." This message would be triggered by a motion sensor placed at that specific location. Message 2 could be a more generic alert for a different zone: "Perimeter breach, rear entrance." This could be triggered by a door contact sensor.
