This lot consists of one (1) four-drawer filing cabinet manufactured by HON. The item has been marked as being in fair condition due to visible signs of prior use and wear consistent with regular office or institutional service.
Observed wear includes scratches, scrapes, dents, adhesive residue, and other cosmetic imperfections. The majority of the wear is concentrated on the front of the cabinet, where scuffs, markings, and residue from previously attached labels or stickers are present.
This filing cabinet features four drawers for document and file storage. It should be noted that the bottom drawer does not operate correctly. The drawer can be opened without depressing the thumb-release mechanism, indicating that the latching system is not engaging as intended. Based on visual inspection, this issue may be related to an inward dent on the lower left side of the cabinet, an outward dent on the lower right side, or a combination of both. While the drawer remains functional, the locking and release mechanism for that drawer does not appear to align properly.
