Condition: Fair
This lot consists of one (1) plastic storage drum. The drum has been marked as being in fair condition due to evidence of prior use and cosmetic wear in the form of scratches on the exterior surfaces. Despite these signs of use, the drum appears structurally sound and suitable for reuse.
This drum was previously used to store industrial propylene glycol. The contents have since been emptied and the drum has been rinsed; however, prospective bidders should be aware that residual traces of propylene glycol may still be present within the container. Bidders should inspect and clean the drum as necessary prior to placing it into service.
The manufacturer of this drum is unknown. No manufacturer label was observed at the time of listing. The drum is constructed of molded plastic and features two (2) top-mounted openings intended for filling, dispensing, or transferring contents. Both openings retain their respective caps, which are included with this lot.
The exterior of the drum includes graduated volume markings, with measurements extending up to 50 gallons. While the exact capacity of the drum has not been independently verified, the volume markings may assist prospective bidders in determining suitability for their intended application.
The following identification markings were observed on the exterior of the drum and may assist with identification:
Sticker 1:
"1H1/Y1.7/150 USA/M5227/23RL"
Stamp 1:
"1H1/Y1.9/100/19 USA/M4602"
Stamp 2:
"1H1/Y1.4/100/19/USA/M4602 with vented closure"
These markings are provided for reference purposes only and have not been independently verified.
