1978 Ford Bronco Custom 351 Windsor 4x4 4 Speed with factory air conditioning. Full restoration. Driver and passenger entire front floor pans were removed as they had a few 1” rust through spots. The body shop installed/welded in new AMD OE molded floor pans, then the entire cab floor was rhino lined and sound dampening material was installed with new carpet and shifter boots for the transmission and transfer case. New LMC leather split bench front seat and matching rear seat cover.

Full details of complete restoration work performed:

1-Fresh beautiful brand new antimatter Dark Blue metallic ($10k paint job) with $2,000 70’s free wheelin’ graphics. Floor repairs, Paint job in-tails (2 coats primer then sanded, then 3 coats of paint, then sanded, and 2 cots of final clear coat) all mentioned rust removal and paint work were professionally completed 3 weeks ago. The removable rear shell was texture painted as well at the same time the bronco was painted then new seals were installed.

2-The entire frame and under body was cleaned and sealed, then undercoated by the body shop.

3-The rear tailgate window regulator was adjusted and slides were lubricated to achieve smooth steady fast up and down open and close action. Both the ignition key and the switch on the dash operate the rear window nicely. New front door window track seals and anti rattle seals were installed in each front door. New door panels, and internal door handles and door opening hardware were installed. New door seals were installed. The doors open and close very nicely and close tight. New windshield and glass seal are installed. The new locking strip and corner tabs arrive feb. 4th (tomorrow)and will be installed and that job is completed. New Bronco graveyard mirrors.

4-The 351 Windsor was rebuilt at 100k miles and has 58,382 miles on it now. With a complete tune-up and a Edelbrock precision tuned carburetor. Compression is over 120 psi on all cylinders and it has 20 plus inches of vacuum. The engine ran great before this 4 month restoration started but all new seals were installed on the engine. Including valve covers, intake manifold, oil pan and rear main seal, and header gaskets both at the head and on the header to exhaust pipe connections on lower header connection. The dual exhaust and mufflers have 58k miles on them, but are leak free and sound great so we left them as is and working great.

5-The 4 speed transmission, transfer case, front and rear differential seals were replaced and all oils are fresh. Brand new custom built drivelines and u-joints.

6- Front suspension is completely new including: upper and lower ball joints, left and right tie rod ends, drag link, pitman arm, steering stabilizers, axle triangle mount bushings, Rancho 5000 shocks and I beam bushings are all brand new. 5 (including spare tire on back) New Toyo Open Country tires and new aluminum wheels. New warn manual locking hubs, and front and rear brakes. Complete with receiver hitch for towing.

7-New steel chrome grille, grille insert, headlight surrounds, headlights and all signal, tail, brake and marker lights. New front and rear bumpers with front running and fog dual function bumper mounted lights, dash mounted switch with relays.
8-New A/C compressor and oil, but it is not hooked up. It will only need the belt, the two Freon lines and the front condenser unit to run it. $220. I just don’t care to use A/C.
