Q & A
Could you clarify “hole inside engine block”? I would think that would be catastrophic, but it also says it starts and runs, so just looking for clarification 02/17/2026 06:52:20 AM
From Nick Thomas at ODOT, "I am assuming the hole is from the missing glow plug. Thank you for your interest." 02/17/2026 11:01:58 AM
It says it starts and runs with a hole in the engine block? Or is the hole related to the glow plug missing? Do you have a video of the engine running in it's current state? 02/16/2026 11:51:58 AM
From Nick Thomas at ODOT, "I am assuming the hole is from the glow plug slot being empty. Thank you for your interest." ~ No video avail. 02/17/2026 11:02:57 AM
I know you can't guarantee anything just wondering if anybody would know if they thought it would drive for 200 miles or if it need to be trailered and maybe is there any kind of rattling or knocking like something maybe broke to cause that hole or a piece of the glow plug in a cylinder. Thank you. For any information, I can get 02/17/2026 16:18:47 PM
From Nick Thomas at ODOT, "I have no way of telling how many miles this vehicle will drive for. I did drive it around the lot for a short time at low speeds and noticed nothing out of the ordinary." 02/17/2026 16:22:50 PM
