Hours for inspection are 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM – Monday through Friday.

Removal: If you are the winning bidder, contact the Seller PRIOR to arriving to verify payment has cleared and for instructions on pickup and removal or to authorize a third-party to pick up the item. Franklin County Landfill is open between 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM – Monday through Friday. Pick up of keys and removal must be done during these hours. There will be no after hours removals. Please allow sufficient time if you are paying on the same day that you are picking up an item to allow for the processing of the payment, and the title and/or “Bill of Sale” processing as payments are done at another location (the Franklin County Commission Office) other than where your item is located. The Franklin County Commission hours are 8:00 A.M.to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. Bidders are to remove their property within five (5) business days after the issuance of the Buyers Certificate of Award, or a $20.00 daily storage fee will be incurred. Repairs will not be allowed to vehicles on Franklin County Landfill property. Successful bidder shall be responsible to arrange for the wrecker, roll-back wrecker, trailer, crane, etc., necessary to remove a vehicle from the Franklin County Landfill property. The Franklin County Landfill will not offer any assistance for the removal of vehicles from the landfill property other than jumping off/booster starting, or putting air in vehicle tires.
