Hello! The description states that the Cat 299D2 ran and drove when it was taken out of service. That means we were able to start it without a jump and drive it in our lot during the decommissioning process. Items that are placed on the auction are not thoroughly diagnosed or inspected before being taken out of service, and therefore the details of the mechanical condition is unknown. The information we post in the description are things that are noted during the decommissioning process which is not done by a mechanic. The problems that are listed are only the problems that were noticed during the decommissioning process but there could be more, less obvious issues. Thank you! 08/06/2026 07:43:57 AM

According to CAT that machine is not a high flow machine. Just because it has Aux hydraulic and electrical hook up does not mean it is high flow. To be high flow that machine would of had to have an upgrade after it was purchased. It did not come from the factory high flow. There’s a tremendous difference in the value of the machine and it should be clarified. Thank you. 08/11/2026 10:46:40 AM

Hello! Unfortunately, there are many things that can contribute to & cause rust. It would be hard to narrow it down to just one reason. Gates are locked at 3PM- NO REMOVAL ALLOWED AFTER 3PM-NO EXCEPTION! All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. If successful bidder requires a third party to pick up the item won, authorization is required for removal of item and release of title. A daily storage fee of $20.00 a calendar day will be charged for any item not removed within 10 business days from the date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate.
