Can you tell me why has check engine light on motor or transmission? Did this engine have any lifter work performed 03/09/2026 22:46:54 PM
The check engine light is on for one of two things, the horn was not connected back when the siren was disconnected or that the 110 plug was not reconnected. For some reason both of these cause the light to come on. The horn is due to it being part of the security system. I think the plug causes the system to show an open circuit. This one has not had lifter issues. We have had 12 Tahoes and two Silverado trucks since 2021 and only had issues with one of the 2021 Tahoes and one 2023 models and then one of the trucks. 03/10/2026 08:42:45 AM
