The lot consists of four (4) dumpsters containing 3,500 water meters, registers, meter bases, and antennas. Quantities are estimates only and have not been verified by physical count. Meters were removed from service during a system-wide meter replacement project. Buyer should be prepared to pick up the entire lot and do all loading on their own in one pick up day. Entire lot is very heavy, please bring the appropriate equipment/trailer/vehicle on pick up day. Buyer will complete pick up by 3 PM. Dumpsters are not included in the sale.

The successful bidder shall collect, transport, and manage all batteries as Universal Waste in strict accordance with 40 CFR Part 273 and all applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Disposal of Universal Waste into the environment, including municipal landfills or conventional waste streams, is strictly prohibited.

Bidders must be either a Certified Electronics Recycler (e.g., R2v3 or e-Stewards certified) or a permitted Universal Waste Destination Facility. Proof of current certification and a valid EPA Identification Number must be submitted with the bid.
