This auction is for two Reality Works RealCare Baby 2 - female. These infant simulators have been discontinued by the manufacturer, but have reasonable life left as parts are available and a troubleshooting mindset. The item is used. SOLD AS IS
The RealCare Baby Program (formerly Baby Think It Over®) uses simulators and curriculum to help users understand the physical, emotional and social effects of caring for an infant 24 hours a day. During a simulation experience, users: • Determine whether Baby needs feeding, burping, rocking or changing • Dress Baby appropriately for weather/temperature • Handle Baby correctly and respond to Baby’s cries for care
Item sold as is, where is and no assistance provided for removal, loading or pick up. Must schedule pick up with contact person. Will not ship. *NO SHIPPING* Pick-up is by APPOINTMENT ONLY Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 2:00pm. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. ID will be required when picking up items. IDs may be scanned via IdentAKid for thorough background check to gain access into our schools. *Please provide a copy of your bill of sale upon pick-up. Removal and/or disassembly of items are the buyer’s responsibility. This includes any aid or person(s) required to move said item(s). *Please read all PURCHASING and PICK-UP instructions below.

Good morning and thanks for the email. The Realcare Babies only come with the baby and clothes, if pictured. And yes, if these do not sell to government entities they will be available to the general public in a similar bid scenario 01/26/2026 10:07:08 AM

SALES TAX

Suppression
All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Many of these items are located in a working school or at an off-site location, therefore, pick-up is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY in order to minimize any disruption to students and/or teachers. Pick-up hours are Monday-Thursday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., excluding district holidays. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. For pick-up, please refer to the contact information listed in the description.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading, transportation, and removal of all property awarded to them. The Buyer will be responsible for any damage incurred as a result of the property removal. All property offered for sale is in "As Is" condition. Under no circumstances will School District Five of Lexington & Richland Counties assume responsibility for packing, loading, transportation, or shipping. No assistance is provided.

A Government ID is required to be able to bid on this auction Winning bidder will be required to provide a copy of a Government ID prior to removal.
