City of Danville, Virginia Surplus Property:
2011 Freightliner 108 SD CONVENTIONAL CAB, 8.3L L6 DIESEL.
This truck starts and runs, works as it should, has an Allison transmission, P/S, air brakes, vinyl bench seat, intermittent wipers. Tires have 30% tread left. 3/26 VA state inspection sticker.
When the truck was parked in November 2025 all hydraulic functions worked properly, However the packer cylinder was bent and not repaired. The truck was replaced with a new one is the reason for not repairing. This unit
has a 20 cu/yd EZ Pack A300 rear load refuse body. The body is in fair condition.
*NOTE: Packer cylinder is bent and removed. Its laying in the back of the truck.*

Suppression
All items must be removed within ten (10) days from the date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. One (1) days notice will be given to the seller for pickup of item(s). All property except Inoperable or Abandoned vehicles may be removed between the hours of 9:00am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. Inoperable or Abandoned vehicles may be removed between the hours of 9:00am - 2:00pm, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of all item(s). IF NO CONTACT IS MADE WITH THE SELLER WITHIN SIX (6) DAYS AFTER ISSUANCE OF THE BUYERS CERTIFICATE OR IF THE ITEM(S) ARE NOT PICKED UP IN FOURTEEN (14) DAYS AFTER ISSUANCE OF THE BUYERS CERTIFICATE AND/OR PAYMENT OF THE ITEM, THE ITEM(S) MAY BE RESOLD AND NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN TO THE PURCHASER.
