For Auction is a Newing-Hall Apex Rotary Engraving System.
The Newing-Hall NH-600 paired with the Apex-HPGL HP3 controller is an industrial-grade, large-format rotary engraving system designed for heavy-duty applications. It features a spacious engraving platform and an open-bed layout optimized for large or irregular objects.
System Specifications
Engraving Area: Large format workspace measuring 30 in x 24 in (720 sq. in. platform area).
Physical Dimensions: 42 in W x 41 in D x 26 in H; total machine weight is approximately 240 lbs net.
Drive System: Heavy-duty construction utilizing high-accuracy ballscrews and specific dual drive belts (52 in front, 50 1/8 in rear).
Controller System: Driven by the production-tier Apex-HPGL HP3 control system, a 2-axis or 3-axis true 3D controller utilizing the standard HPGL protocol.
Spindle Motor: High-speed variable motor operating at 0–24,000 RPM utilizing a 1/5 hp DC permanent magnet and three Class 7 bearings.
Tooling Options: Employs a standard 11/64 in rotary spindle, with additional manufacturing options for 1/4 in, collet, or diamond drag tools.
The Rotary Engraving System has been powered on. The Rotary Engraving System has not been tested further than what is documented within the included media. The System comes with what is documented within the included photos and nothing more. The Chair is not part of the sale. The Lamp does not come with a bulb. The Rotary Engraving System may show signs of cosmetic wear such as scuffs and sticker labels. Please reference the included media and Newing-Hall model number for more information. The Newing-Hall Apex Rotary Engraving System is being sold AS IS.

SALES TAX
When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.

Suppression
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,
DO NOT LIST UI SURPLUS AS THE SHIPPER.
You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED

Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale 'AS IS, WHERE IS.' University of Iowa makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.
Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
