This lot includes approximately 29 iPads and 139 iPhones of various models, as well as two boxes of assorted iPad keyboards and iPhone cases. The units have been removed from Apple Business Manager and have been wiped. The total number of units is a close approximation, but not guaranteed.

Some of the items are known to not work: 11 of the iPhones are locked in Apple ID, 1 iPhone could not be verified in Apple Business Manager, 1 iPad keeps rebooting, 1 iPhone won't turn on, and 1 iPad won't turn on.

These are only the known problems with the units. The entire lot is being sold AS IS, with NO guarantee that any or all of them will work. While the items worked while in service, they have since been decommissioned and have been wiped. The City of Alexandria did not test the items to confirm that they are operable before this auction. Therefore, the City of Alexandria is selling these items as is and makes no guarantee that any or all will work. By bidding, all bidders acknowledge that the City of Alexandria did not guarantee the operability of any unit and accept the risk of bidding on as-is units. Please bid at your own risk. Only the items mentioned in the description are up for sale. The keyboards and cases are also being sold as-is.

    Thank you for your question. I do not have information on the functionality of screens, but the inventory says that 15 of the devices cannot be used for various reasons, none of which pertains to screen functionality. 04/20/2026 11:26:40 AM

SALES TAX

Paperwork must be completed before items can be picked up.

PROPERTY MUST BE REMOVED BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! All property must be removed from this asset location within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate.

Buyer must make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading, and transportation. This also includes any arrangements made with a third party to pick up the merchandise. Use of any third party shipper is at the Buyer’s own risk.

Mr. Clark must first approve any third party pick-ups, because there are special instructions that must be completed before release of any vehicle or asset. Merchandise may be removed from the location between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. Mr. Clark must give authorization before pick up of any vehicle. For additional information, please email Mr. Clark at patrick.clark@alexandriava.gov. Buyer must make an appointment with Mr. Clark prior to receipt of Bill of Sale during the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. Friday pick-ups will not be allowed for any Fire Department equipment.

Buyers arriving without making an appointment may be turned away. Without an appointment, Buyers may be unable to complete this transaction.
