CSU Surplus Property is selling a Student Built Tiny House that was previously purchased to be used in a university setting. It is highly encouraged that bidders inspect items in person prior to placing a bid.

This house was designed and built by Colorado State University design and architecture students.

The exterior of the house measures 28’8” L (including the hitch and stabilizers) x 10’8” W (including exterior vents). At its tallest the house measures 13’5” from the ground. At the lowest height the house measures 11’8” from the ground. The house sits on a trailer 3 feet above the ground.

The bathroom is 42.11 square feet and the main living space is 157 square feet. In total, the interior measures 199.11 square feet.

This house sits on a Trailer Made Custom Trailer. The trailer has 6 tires, all inflated with good tread. The outdoor unit of the AC system sits on mounting hardware that is welded on to the trailer tongue.

This house has been certified by NOAH. It has been winterized, with antifreeze in all lines, and meets ADA Accessibility guidelines.

Around the exterior, there are gaps in the siding where window trim and panels do not line up properly.

In the interior, there is a section of grout missing in the bathroom. The bathroom has a glass swinging door that separates it from the living space, however there is no lock on it.

Sitting area converts into a full-size Murphy bed. The table expands out an additional 4 feet.

Please note that ALL outlets are wired for 120V

House is equipped with 8 Pella windows and 1 Solar Industries window. Each with their own Energy Performance Ratings (See Photos.). There is an obscure glass Pella window in the shower of the bathroom.

Included with the house are a 120V power cord, some additional flooring, 5 pieces of siding, and a black 4 step staircase.

Suppression

REMOVAL IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! ONCE THE ITEM HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE SELLERS LOCATION; ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Removal. : All items must be removed within (10) business days from the time and date of payment received unless otherwise specified in the auction posting. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified in the Terms and Conditions. Removal is by appointment only Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Please contact Surplus Property by email at surplus@colostate.edu to schedule inspection appointments as some items are at alternate locations. If buyer fails to remove items within the (10) business day window, this will result in a default of the auction. Extensions to the pickup window must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Please email surplus@colostate.edu to request extensions. Buyer will be required to provide proof of identification prior to property being released by Seller. If the Buyer will have a third party claim the property on their behalf, email confirmation from the Buyer’s registered email account will be required identifying the third party and proof of identification will be required by the third party prior to property being released by Seller.
