Scheduling & Hours: Inspections are highly flexible and available seven (7) days a week to tailor to your needs. All inspections must be scheduled in advance by emailing auctions@miltonsurplus.com. While we make every effort to work with bidders, we cannot guarantee accommodation for all requested inspection times. If your requested time is unavailable, we will provide the next best available date and time.

Deadlines: Bidders may schedule inspections up until the active auction ends. Post-auction inspections are not permitted.

On-Site Guidelines: During an inspection, bidders are welcome to come onto the property to thoroughly inspect assets under the supervision of the on-site seller contact. However, no inspection assistance will be provided by Milton Surplus.

Revocation of Privileges: Milton Surplus reserves the right to revoke inspection privileges for any bidder at any time, at our sole discretion.

Scheduling Protocol: Removal may be scheduled only after payment fully processes. To book a pickup, email auctions@miltonsurplus.com. We accommodate requested dates and times where possible but cannot guarantee them; if a request is denied, the next best option is offered.

Removal Timeline & Flexibility: Assets must be removed no later than seven (7) days from auction closure. If issues arise, contact us immediately; we will try to work with you but cannot guarantee accommodations for late removal.

Release Documentation: The winning bidder receives a Bill of Sale once payment is received. The bidder must bring two (2) printed copies to the pickup appointment, signed by both the bidder and the on-site seller contact.

Proxy Removal: Proxy pickups are permitted. The original bidder must send written authorization from the communication method registered on their GovDeals account, naming who may pick up on their behalf. The proxy must present valid Photo ID on arrival. Milton Surplus may deny proxy access at its sole discretion.

Loading Assistance & Liability Waiver: Loading assistance (forklift or other equipment) may be offered on-site as a courtesy, strictly at the seller's discretion; Milton Surplus may refuse or withhold it at any time, including where damage or injury may result from unsafe conditions. Before receiving assistance, the buyer or their agent must read, initial, and sign the GovDeals Loading/Forklift Assistance Waiver & Release Certificate. By signing, the buyer fully releases Milton Surplus and the on-site seller contact from any and all liability for damage or loss to any person and/or property — including the asset(s), the transport vehicle or trailer, and any persons present — regardless of fault. Once an item is loaded, the sale is final. If assistance is withheld for safety, the buyer may receive a short extension to arrange independent removal. Buyers are strongly encouraged to arrive with their own equipment and personnel; details can be discussed by email during scheduling.

Shipping & Freight (When Applicable): Where shipping is explicitly offered, Milton Surplus can help prepare items for commercial shippers arranged and scheduled by the bidder. We are not professional shippers, cannot guarantee proper packing, and accept zero liability for assets damaged or lost in transit. Preparation fees may apply if packing beyond the listing display is required, agreed upon before work and billing.

Vehicles & Safe Removal: Vehicles and trailers should be towed or trailered off the property, as they may not be road-worthy. We do not condone removal by unsafe or illegal means, and Milton Surplus may deny removal of any asset if unsafe or illegal methods are attempted.

Titles & Documentation: For titled assets (Titles, Certificates of Origin / MSO), the signed title or ownership document is provided to the winning bidder or authorized proxy at pickup, after payment is verified and the Bill of Sale signed. Buyers must ensure the name and details on their GovDeals account and Buyer's Certificate are correct before pickup, as this is used for title assignment. Corrections must be requested at auctions@miltonsurplus.com before removal; we may deny changes, defaulting to the registered information.

Guaranty Waiver: All property is offered for sale strictly "AS-IS, WHERE-IS." Milton Surplus makes no warranty, guaranty, or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability, fitment, or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale.

Accuracy & Professional Assessment: Information posted to the auction listing is accurate to the best of Milton Surplus's knowledge, and we attempt to describe and display assets as accurately as possible. However, we are not professionals in the fields of the items we sell and cannot be expected to make professional assessments regarding their condition, functionality, or operability. We do not provide prescriptive condition details or functional guarantees. Buyers must rely strictly on their own inspections and their own assessments of the auction photographs and descriptions.

Finality of Sale: Upon the signature of the Bill of Sale and the removal of assets from Milton Surplus property, all sales are final.

Default Policy: If you are the winning bidder and fail to adhere to Milton Surplus's terms and conditions, Milton Surplus reserves the right to lock your Liquidity Services account, preventing you from bidding on or purchasing other assets. If bidders are found to be evading their default and account lock status, further action will be taken directly with Liquidity Services.
