The property being sold in this auction are the contents of safe deposit boxes reported to the District of
Columbia, Unclaimed Property Unit by various safekeeping repositories. The boxes have been unclaimed by
the owner for more than 3 years from the date on which the lease or rental period expired.
All items have been appraised by a certified appraiser.

Item Description:

A/ 14kt yellow gold ring (marked18kt --but tests as 14kt) with brown star sapphire-10.4-gram weight and size is 9 ½.

B/ 14kt yellow gold rectangular cufflinks with brown star sapphire and two diamonds each. Total weight is 19.2- 5/8 inch by one inch.

C/ 18kt yellow gold "V" ring- weight is 4.4 grams and ring size is 10 ½.

D/ Gold tone closed face pocket watch, missing crystal and shows finish wear. Side wind and set, doesn’t run when wound. 28mm inside works diameter and 35mm case diameter. Waltham Watch company -9057231.

E/ Illinois open face pocket watch- 17J top wind and set, runs when wound- #3324965. Finish wear on case- 40 mm works diameter and 47mm case diameter.

F/ 14-inch silver tone chain for watch plus small carrying case with a gold shell. "B P O E" is monogrammed on outside with some blue enamel. Dimensions are. 2 7/8 " x 1 "

TAX CALCULATION & EXEMPTIONS

TAX CALCULATION: Sale Tax, where applicable, will be calculated and added at the end of the auction.

TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer’s Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to GovDeals Bidder Services at taxhelp@liquidityservices.com within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Bidders are encouraged to submit their Tax Exempt Documentation prior to the Auction’s close to expedite this process. Please contact GovDeals Bidder Services for all tax exemption questions.

Eliminazione

Removal: Items must be picked up in person. Buyers must pick up within six (6) calendar days of auction close. After 6 days, auctions will be canceled. If auction canceled, buyer's account will be locked. Removal is by appointment only. Appointments for removing the property will be available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30am to 3:00pm. Once item is paid, please email dcauction@dc.gov to schedule appointment.

*Appointments must be scheduled by 4:00pm EST on the Monday prior to the desired appointment time.* No packing or shipping available. If you need packing/shipping, please contact a third party shipping company. We cannot recommend any specific companies. If sending a shipping company, family member, friend, or other representative to pick up for you, that person MUST bring the following:
1: copy of buyer's driver license
2: signed note (or emailed note) from buyer giving permission to pick up
3: buyer certificate (sent to buyer when auction closes)
