WSU Surplus is offering for auction a Marathon 2015 VIP Series (Self-Contained Vertical Compactor). This compactor was fully operational when removed from service but hours where not documented. It has a capacity of 6-YDs and is capable of wet or dry waste processing of compact commercial footprints.
There are dents, dings, and scratches consistent with the age and use of this equipment. If you have any questions or would like to set up an inspection or viewing of the equipment, please contact Chad Sobol at 509-335-8094 or email at chad.sobol@wsu.edu. Buyer will need to coordinate loading assistance if needed.

If you are seeking sales tax removal, you must complete Liquidity Services' tax exemption form(s). This must be completed before making payment. To do so, please visit Liquidity Services' Tax Exemption Submission Tool for Out of State Vehicle Buyers. You will be provided two forms to bring to Seller that will be signed upon removal.

Retirada

Property Removal: Unless otherwise permitted by special arrangement, the high bidder shall remove the property only Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 2:30 pm PST, or if the auction listing states other time frames. Should the high bidder elect to have another person pick up the property, a letter of authorization must sent to WSU Surplus Stores via email to surplus@wsu.edu or to the auction contact on the auction listing. All industrial type equipment used by successful bidders on Government property to load, unload, tow, repair, modify, etc., must meet Occupational, Safety, and Health Administration standards.

Shipping and Loading: WSU Surplus Stores does not arrange shipping or provide shipping quotes. Please refer to the property location and zip code in the listing and contact a local shipper of your choice for rates. All shipping costs will be the responsibility of the high bidder. Please consider these costs when submitting your bid. With prior approval and coordination, WSU Surplus Store may be able to assist with loading some items only under the condition that the university is held harmless for any damages.

All sales of surplus property are "as is," and the state takes no responsibility for and makes no guarantees with respect to items sold: Provided that the state shall make a statement of the condition of the merchandise, including major known defects, before sale. No sale shall be invalid due to defects discovered after sale which may have been discovered by a reasonable inspection of the property before sale.
