PAYMENT
If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.Note:
1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.
2. Any invoice $5,000 or above requires payment via wire transfer.
3. Depending on your history with GovDeals, you may be limited to the number of auctions/transactions that you can participate in simultaneously AND/OR the dollar amount that you can pay via credit card, debit card or PayPal. For additional insight, please visit the Probation FAQ.
SALES TAX
When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.If you are seeking sales tax exemption, you must complete Liquidity Services’ tax exemption form(s). We recommend doing this prior to the auction’s closure or before making payment. To do so, please visit Liquidity Services' Tax Exemption Submission Tool.
Retirada
Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Instructions about removal will be sent to the Buyer once payment has been verified between GovDeals and Greenville County.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. The Buyer will be responsible for any damage caused by removal and the removal process. No assistance will be provided by Greenville County. Under no circumstances will Greenville County assume responsibility for packing, loading, shipping, damage caused, or any injury as a result of the removal and removal process. The buyer will release, waive, and discharge the County of Greenville, officers, representatives, agents and any employee of the County of Greenville, from any and all liability of any nature for any damages or injury suffered by buyer or caused by the buyer while participating in this removal.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed as stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
Appointments for removal must be made at least 24 hours in advance. If no appointment is made, item will not be released. Removal is available Tuesday-Thursday, excluding County holidays, by appointment only. Weekend removal is NOT available. If using third party transporter, please make them aware of our removal hours and procedures. If using a Third Party transporter, the transporter must present an Authorization of Release completed by the buyer. Third party transporter must have photo identification that matches the Authorization of Release..
