The unit originally had a large air compressor installed so that repairs could be made in the field without needing a service vehicle. That compressor was removed and repurposed for a newer unit. The clutch on this unit is currently frozen and will need to be replaced. In addition, there are several minor repairs needed, including auger bearings that should be replaced and some hydraulic lines that are beginning to show wear and will need attention soon. 05/28/2026 09:28:54 AM
I noticed the drive shaft is not connected to the clutch output shaft. Is there a problem with the drive line to the mill? Also, can you include pictures of the mill itself? 05/26/2026 12:06:04 PM
The drive shaft was intentionally disconnected due to the clutch issue. We wanted to prevent a hard start on the engine, as engaging the mill while moving or starting the unit could have caused additional strain or damage. Disconnecting the drive shaft allowed us to start and move the unit without the mill applying load to the engine. 05/28/2026 09:29:16 AM

Retirada
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. To schedule your removal appointment, please contact Michael Shaw at 252-467-4889.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
