• Bidders are responsible for bringing appropriate equipment (e.g., furniture dollies, hand trucks) to move and load the pew.
• Note: Comal County will not provide assistance or equipment for moving or loading items.
2. Pickup Schedule & Appointment
• By Appointment Only
• Scheduling: To schedule a pickup appointment as a winning bidder, call 830-643-5850 and ask for the Auction Scheduling Team. The cutoff to call and schedule is 12:00 PM on Thursday, November 20, 2025.
Tip: Scheduling early ensures a smooth and efficient pickup process.
Pickup Dates: November 12–14, 2025, and November 17–21, 2025
Pickup Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday–Friday; County offices closed on weekends)
Deadline: All items must be picked up by 3:30 PM on Friday, November 21, 2025. Failure to pick up by this deadline will result in forfeiture of the item.
3. Pickup Requirements
• No Shipping Available: Items must be picked up in person at the designated location.
• Third-Party Pickup: If a third party is picking up the item, the winning bidder must complete and sign the Authorization of Release document. The signed document must be emailed to the address on your Buyer’s Certificate before pickup arrangements are made.
• Required Documents at Pickup:
o Signed Buyer’s Certificate
o Valid Driver’s License
• Verification: Items will only be released after county staff verify all required documentation.

PAYMENT

If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.

Note:

1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.

2. Any invoice $5,000 or above requires payment via wire transfer.

SALES TAX

When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.

If you are seeking sales tax exemption, you must complete Liquidity Services’ tax exemption form(s). We recommend doing this prior to the auction’s closure or before making payment. To do so, please visit Liquidity Services' Tax Exemption Submission Tool.

Retirada

Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.

The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided.
A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.

If you are the winning bidder, once your full payment has processed online, you must first print and sign the Bill of Sale where it states “Buyer/Agent Signature”. You will then need to scan the signed Bill of Sale to our office along with a copy of the account holder’s driver’s license or State ID to bowlij@co.comal.tx.us. Customer will contact name and phone number on buyer’s certificate to make an appointment to collect all items.

Customer or 3rd party will bring any equipment/tools needed to take possession of the vehicle/equipment. Employees cannot assist in loading, starting the unit, jumping dead batteries, etc.
If you plan to have a third party complete removal of this item/lot, you must complete and sign the Authorization of Release document found on this link. The signed copy must be sent to the email listed on your Buyer's Certificate prior to any removal arrangements being made.
