2024 IPG Photonics Genesis Automated Laser Welding System, with an IPG Photonics YLS-5000/5000-AMB Adjustable Mode Beam Laser Source(See Attached PDF for Laser Source Specs). Unit was Setup in April 2024 and only had Limited run time of 3 Months. Additional System Components Include: (1) IPG Photonics Chiller Model LC340.01-A.3.5/6; (1) Yaskawa Motoman GP25 Robots with Y1000 controller, and (1) BOFA International Fume Extraction System Model AD 1500 IQ. This system includes the following:

Laser Power meter with automatic laser power checking that the user can set.

Fire detection system with alarm and indicator that can detect fires or thermal runaway inside the enclosure. System automatically shuts down the laser, exhaust and keeps doors and shutters closed to contain the fire. A buzzer will sound with indicator flashing when alarm is triggered.
