Broken Tilt Pin. Wheel bearings need repairs. Rust on under carriage.

A preliminary visual assessment was made on the vehicle with the understanding that additional issues could be present that would be found after a more complete inspection.

All bidders are encouraged to inspect vehicles prior to bidding.

Equipment or Vehicle is being sold in “AS-IS-WHERE IS CONDITION”.

Inspeção

You will be bidding on a Bri-Mar trailer. Items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Repairs may be needed; this item may have damage not seen by, nor reported to our department. The exact repairs needed are unknown to the Purchasing Department. ALL items are sold as is, where is, with no warranty expressed, written, or implied. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the machinery before bidding. Major or minor defects may or may not be noted. Other defects may exist, and it is your responsibility to verify the functional ability of each trailer listed. Picture(s) may be a part of the description but can only be relied upon as a reasonable representation of the trailer listed. Physical inspection of property is encouraged and highly recommended. To schedule an inspection, please email Adam Hewitt at adam.hewitt@capemaycountynj.gov or Shannon Chiera at shannon.chiera@capemaycountynj.gov or call (609) 465-1049 or (609) 465-1293. Bidders shall adhere to the inspection dates and times offered by the County of Cape May. The trailer is in a secure yard located at the County of Cape May’s Administration Complex, 11 Holmes Creek Road, Cape May Court House. Note to Bidders: The Purchasing Department sells used property for other government departments across the County of Cape May. We normally get little to no information on most items we sell, and it is the bidders’ responsibility to inspect and determine the overall condition of the items they wish to purchase. The overall condition of this property is unknown to the Purchasing Department.

Pagamento

Payment must be received at Gov Deals, via their PayPal/Credit Card payment program immediately after the sale and no later than five (5) business days from the sale end date. If payment is not received by Gov. Deals within five (5) business days, the property may be auctioned at the next County sale. NO PAYMENT will be received by the County of Cape May. Gov. Deals will issue a Buyer’s Certificate to the winning bidder at the auction’s end date. Under no circumstances will the County of Cape May release any items without the Buyer’s Certificate from Gov. Deals.

Retirada

A VALID Driver’s License of the person actually picking-up the equipment is required to pickup this item. ADVANCE NOTICE: Forty-eight (48) Hour Advance Notice is required for pick up. PICKUP TIMEFRAME: Item will be available for pickup ONLY between the hours of 9AM and 1PM, Tuesday through Thursday, excluding legal holidays. NO EXCEPTIONS (unless arranged otherwise by Adam Hewitt) SCHEDULE PICKUP: Please e-mail Adam Hewitt at adam.hewitt@capemaycountynj.gov or Shannon Chiera at shannon.chiera@capemaycountynj.gov or call (609) 465-1049 or (609) 465-1293. between 9AM and 2PM, Monday through Friday to schedule a pickup time. NO LOADING ASSISTANCE: The BUYER must perform all work necessary to remove the item, including packaging, loading, securing, and transporting the item. No assistance from the County will be given to load item. DOCUMENTATION: The BUYER must produce a VALID Driver’s License at pick up, which will be photocopied. Item will be released ONLY with a VALID Driver’s License and the Buyer's Certificate from GovDeals. Buyer will be asked to sign a Bill of Sale upon pick-up of the item. If the buyer is using a third party to pick-up, transport, or remove vehicle they must complete an Authorization of Release form. This form is attached. PICKUP DEADLINE: Item must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. FAILURE TO PICKUP: If BUYER fails to pick up the Item by the eleventh (11) business day, the item will be resold and the Buyer will forfeit their payment of the Item and their participation in the GovDeals auction site. REMOVAL OF ITEM: BUYER must TOW or HAUL away. BUYER CHECKLIST: 1. Pay for Item through GovDeals. 2. Schedule Pickup with Adam Hewitt 48-hours in advance. Indicate person picking-up Item. 3. At Pickup: Provide signed Buyer's Certificate & valid Driver’s License of person picking up. 4. At Pickup: Sign Bill of Sale; Photocopy of Driver’s License will be taken for County Records. 5. At Pickup: BUYER is responsible for loading Item; No assistance is given by County. 6. Remove Item. BUYER must TOW or HAUL away. *VEHICLE REGISTRATION with NJMVC is required PRIOR to operating Vehicle.
