FOR SALE IS A LOT OF (2) TWO EXPLOSIVE VAPOR DETECTION UNITS MADE BY SCINTREX. UNITS ARE STORED IN TRAVEL CASES (SEEN IN PHOTO) AND HAVE BARELY BEEN USED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY. THESE UNITS HAVE AN OUTDATED DATABASE ON THEM THAT WE WERE ADVISED TO THE COST OF UPDATING THEM WOULD BE $3,500 A UNIT AND WE CAN SHARE THAT INFORMATION WITH THE BUYER. ALL UNITS ARE THE MODEL OF EVD-3000+.

Winner will need to contact the agency and schedule with no less than 24 hours notice, no same day pickups are authorized. The unit is located on a secure facility and there will be requested information that needs to be submitted prior to entry.
We don’t have any information to disclose other than provided on this site. Also, in person visiting to see the items is not allowed or accepted. The items are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. It is offered for sale “As Is, Where Is.” We make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability of fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale.
You must call at least twenty-four hours in advance before you can pick up. When picking up, you must have your own help, should your property require assistance for loading with the use of heavy equipment there will be a waiver that needs to be signed. Please bring any hand trucks or small equipment that may be required as we will not provide that. In addition please ensure that your vehicle is rated for the item(s) that you are removing.
We do not pack, ship or place a personal label on a shipment. You are responsible for packing, loading and removal of 100% of won property.

If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.
Note:
1. Payment is due within 5 (five) days of auction closure.
2. Any invoice $5,000 or above requires payment via wire transfer.

SALES TAX
When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.
If you are seeking sales tax exemption, you must complete Liquidity Services’ tax exemption form(s). We recommend doing this prior to the auction’s closure or before making payment. To do so, please visit Liquidity Services' Tax Exemption Submission Tool.

REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS
REMOVAL/PICK-UP TIMEFRAME:
Auction winners (“the buyer”) must remove all property within ten (10) business days from the date of payment. If any property is not retrieved within ten (10) business days of payment confirmation, auction winners forfeit refunds and other auction modifications. Failure to remove all won property promptly will result in the buyer being defaulted and blocked from future bidding. Once an asset has been removed, all sales are final, and refunds are prohibited.
APPOINTMENTS FOR REMOVAL/PICK-UP:
The buyer must coordinate pick-up appointments directly with the custodial agency (“the seller”) by contacting the Asset Contact listed in the auction under “Seller Information.”
Pick-up requests must be submitted to the Asset Contact via email. It is recommended that the email subject line include a notice of a pick-up appointment request and the inventory ID number, e.g., “GovDeals Pick-up Appointment Request for Inventory ID 123456.”
REQUIREMENTS FOR REMOVAL/PICK-UP:
The buyer must provide:
- A copy of the payment confirmation certificate/bill of sale;
- A valid driver's license or other government-issued identification with the same name and address as the buyer. Property will not be released if identification cannot be verified; and
- A signature and date on the payment confirmation certificate/bill of sale upon pick-up.
Pick-up Agent:
*If a pick-up agent (someone other than the buyer) is removing/picking up the property, please notify Asset Contact via email prior to pick-up, including the name of the pick-up agent. A valid driver's license or other government-issued identification with the same name and address of the buyer, and a valid driver's license or other government-issued identification of the pick-up agent must be presented.
The buyer is responsible for packing, loading, and removal of 100% of the property.
