1 Decommissioned bus (Without Tires) – 2018 MCI/D4500 – Lot BL26-7
BL26-7 - The New Jersey Transit Corporation (NJ TRANSIT) is soliciting offers to purchase one (1) decommissioned bus (2018 MCI/D4500 Bus 18043). The tires are NOT included but can be purchased separately. Bus is located at 442 Avenue P, Newark NJ 07105.

The bus has reached the end of its useful life and is being retired from service. Bus is not in driving condition and towing will be required to remove it from the property.

The bus will be sold in “as is” “where is” condition and in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Solicitation. If a third party is picking up material, we are not responsible for lost material.

***Due to liability issues, the bid winner will be REQUIRED to TOW/FLATBED the bus from the lot. No prep-work, mechanical or otherwise, except for tow purposes, will be allowed***

Purchase price does NOT include tires, though they can be purchased separately. A certified check for $2,000.90 is required for the tires at the time of the initial bus pickup. There is no buyer's premium added to the check. *** The check will be returned when the tires are returned to 601 Doremus Avenue Newark NJ 07105. *** It is the buyer’s responsibility to return all tires back within 21 days. If not returned during the accepted time frame the check will be cashed and no refund given. The buyer can keep the rims.
