All Purchasers are asked to use the MD 715/Maryland Boulevard gate for Aberdeen Area (AA)/APG North access. For Edgewood Area (EA)/APG South access use Route 24/Hoadley Road gate access.
Unless you are a current DOD ID Holder you will need to go to the Visitor's Control Center of the respective AA/EA location. Additional instructions will be provided once the purchaser has made payment. If you do not have a Real ID, it is recommended that you bring a second form of ID such as a passport, SSN card, birth certificate or work ID.
If you do not have a valid state drivers license you will not be allowed on post (this will include any passengers as well). Individuals with a past felony record (including passengers) will not be allowed on post.

The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation and exporting. Note: Shipping is NOT available.
Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.
At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, Authorization of Release, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).

Once the auction has closed and a high bidder has been identified, the seller reserves the right to approve or reject the final offer, which can take up to 10 (ten) business days. If the seller approves the final offer, then that is when the timeframe begins for payment and removal.
Winning Bidder, upon receipt of Approval notification by the seller:
Step 1.
Follow the GovDeals process for winning bidders. Go to the FAQ page and tab to: I won, now what? --> How to create an invoice. The invoice needs to be created and emailed to the seller in advance of payment.
Step 2
Follow automated GovDeals notification instructions and make payment.
Step 3:
Contact the seller via email or my work cell phone, or MS Teams and coordinate pick-up time.
Provide the seller the “Authorization of Release” document if needed prior to pickup.
Step 4
At the time of pickup, the Bidder needs to sign Load Out Advice and/or Bill of Sale and the Invoice (for auditing purposes)
