All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. If using a 3rd-Party Agent: The Buyer must provide the 3rd Party Agent with a copy of the “Buyer’s Certificate”, which must be brought with them to the pick-up. The Buyer must also provide the Seller with authorization via email to release the asset to the Third-Party Agent and provide the name and/or company name in the email. The 3rd Party Agent must show identification upon pick-up & sign the Bill of Sales. Please note that the County of McHenry assumes no responsibility for items that are picked up by 3rd Party Agents. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
