If someone other than the Buyer is picking up property, the Buyer is responsible for sending the Seller authorization in writing, via email (FROM THE EMAIL ADDRESS ON THE GOVDEALS PROFILE) to property@ua.edu, for the third party to pick up property. The third party will be required to show photo ID and copy of the Buyer's Certificate as confirmation they are authorized to pick up the property. They individual/company authorized for pick up will have to also sign the Bill of Sale on behalf of the buyer. The original signature will be required.

Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property. Waiver of all liability from the University of Alabama for loading and property removal. The winning bidder will be liable for any damage or harm that may take place during the loading and removal of property awarded to that bidder. In addition, the winning bidder shall indemnify, defend and save harmless the University of Alabama and their representatives from any liability arising out of the winning bidder's acts or omissions including the failure to secure adequate insurance coverage.
