8 Decommissioned buses (With Tires) – 2012 & 2013 DESIGNLINE/CNG – Lot BL26-2
BL26-2 - The New Jersey Transit Corporation (NJ TRANSIT) is soliciting offers to purchase eight (8) decommissioned buses (2012 & 2013 DESIGNLINE/CNG Buses 7205,7206,7210,7204,7207,7209,7213, and 7214). The tires are included and do not have to be returned. 1 bus is located at 442 Avenue P, Newark NJ 07105 and 7 buses are located at 1251 US Highway 9, Howell NJ 07731.
These buses have reached the end of their useful life and are being retired from service. Buses are not in driving condition and towing will be required to remove them from the property.
The buses will be sold in “as is” “where is” condition and in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Solicitation. If a third party is picking up material, we are not responsible for lost material.
***Due to liability issues, the bid winner will be REQUIRED to TOW/FLATBED the buses from the lot. No prep-work, mechanical or otherwise, except for tow purposes, will be allowed***
Purchase price includes tires and does not have to be returned. If the buyer wishes to return the tires, tires can be returned to 601 Doremus Avenue Newark NJ 07105. Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.
